We've always admired tattoo artistry, and the individualism and self-expressiveness that tattoos bring.

While tattoos are a popular form of body art, many individuals are hesitant to commit to a permanent tattoo for a variety of reasons, including religion, employment, fear of infection/pain, or general stigma, to mention a few. For us, we were concerned about having the same piece of art on display for the rest of our lives. After all, we express ourselves through the clothes we wear, the brands we support, and the vehicles we drive, and our tastes vary over time, so why shouldn't our tattoos represent how we feel right now, not in the future?

Why We Don't Sell Temporary Tattoos

Temporary tattoo stickers are great for kids, but we wanted an authentic tattoo
replacement that’s indistinguishable from the real thing – something we’d wear
loud-n-proud in public. We tried and tested many brands of temporary tattoos with
the same results:

Temporary tattoos are a translucent sticker which sticks on top of your skin.
Any hairs become trapped under the sticker and are visible.
The stickers are very shiny, unlike a real tattoo.
Applying talcum powder to try reduce the shine leaves a white residue, and the powder simply
vanishes as soon as the tattoo comes in contact with water.
Only a few days after applying, the sticker begins to breakdown and peel, not fade, making the
tattoo look even less realistic. At this point, it requires removal to save embarrassment.
